The White Horse Inn: COVID-19 Response
The White Horse Inn reopened on 4th July 2020 in a fully COVID-SECURE manner, in line with the Government guidelines. This has required a reduction in staff working at any one time, both Front of House and in the Kitchen, and a new, simpler menu more suited to the new environment but still all locally sourced, cooked fresh and delicious.
Update: Christmas Eve, 24th December
It will come as no surprise to learn that the pub, restaurant & rooms will be closed as of Boxing Day, due to a move to Tier 4 in for the entire counties of East & West Sussex.
The next review of tiers is due to take place on Wednesday 30th December and all reservations up to and including this date will be cancelled without charge.
For those that have their reservations cancelled and their plans for the festive season changed at this late stage, we apologise and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as possible.
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Rooms
In addition to our already very comprehensive cleaning practices for each room, all frequent touch areas (furniture, door handles, remote controls, keys, blind cords, headboards, cushions, hair dryer, gun safe, mini bar items etc) are sanitised before check-in and daily; Nobel Isle room amenities are single use; no staff enter rooms when occupied
Kitchen
Access to the kitchen is restricted and within the kitchen, social distancing is assisted by smaller teams and spacing of work areas, in addition to masks and hand washing.
Customers can rest assured that the welfare of staff is also at the forefront of our minds, with daily temperature checks, separate hand sanitising stations, and spacing of work areas as they go about their work.
