As we lead up to the new year, we wanted to let you know about something which is very close to our hearts… Charlie’s Calendar. Charlie’s calendar is produced by photographer Jamie Fielding, however this year it’s an extra special calendar with collaboration from some of the leading landscape photographers in the UK. This calendar is in aid of Jamie’s 9 year old son Charlie, who at the age of 18 months was left a paraplegic after suffering a bleed on his spinal cord. In 2022 he had also just completed his chemotherapy and is free from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Every copy sold raises vital funds for Charlie’s long term care and rehabilitation. • HOW TO FIND US • Travelling by car? At Heath End turn onto Burton Park Road, marked with a brown tourist sign for ‘White Horse Inn’ and signposted to Sutton. In one mile, turn right towards Sutton, also marked with a brown tourist sign. Follow the road for 1.5 miles to the parish church of Saint John Baptist. The White Horse Inn is one mile further on the right-hand side. If the car park at the rear is full, guests can make use of the signposted Village Hall car park across the road. Travelling by foot? The inn is two miles from the South Downs Way. At Bignor Hill car park, head down into Bignor on a winding tarmacked track and just beyond the farm turn left towards Holy Cross Church. At the junction in front of the church take another left towards Sutton and follow the road to The White Horse Inn.
